The Chaco Culture Conservancy has received a grant as part of the National Park Foundation’s largest investment to date in capacity-building grants to help partners grow faster, build new capabilities, and increase their impact to ensure parks continue to endure and thrive for generations to come.
The Chaco Culture Conservancy was awarded a grant from the National Park Foundation to strengthen its organization and expand its impact in Chaco Culture National Historical Park and Aztec Ruins National Monument. The CCC will use the award to fund a strategic planning session, a project that will see the redesign of onsite donation spaces, and strategic development.
By the end of 2027, the Chaco Culture Conservancy will have completed each of these projects:
Each of these projects is designed to strengthen the organization, and therefore ensure that we can offer more support to Chaco Culture National Historical Park and Aztec Ruins National Monument in 2027 and beyond.
This grant is part of a $5 million investment by NPF to bolster 77 park partners across the country. It’s NPF’s largest investment in park partner capacity to-date and reflects the growing importance of park partners in supporting national parks through fundraising, program management, volunteer coordination, park infrastructure, and other critical functions.
