Jennifer hails originally from Wisconsin, but her love affair with New Mexico goes back to college when she spent a summer in Taos.
Jennifer has worked for the federal government for more than 20 years and currently serves as the U.S. Forest Service’s Partnerships Program Manager for the Southwestern Region, which encompasses 11 national forests in Arizona and New Mexico.
Prior to her current role, she worked for the National Park Service for 15 years. She moved to Albuquerque from San Francisco in 2016, where she served as the Chief of Administration & Finance for Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
Before that, she spent almost eight years at Yosemite National Park as the primary liaison to the Yosemite Conservancy, the park’s friends group and cooperating association.
Jennifer started her career in the National Park Service’s Office of the Comptroller working to improve business practices in national parks around the country.
Jennifer holds a Master of Environmental Management Degree from Duke University in Resource Economics and Policy, and in college, triple majored in Biology, Spanish, and Latin American Studies, with a minor in history.
Jennifer loves living in New Mexico where her husband was born and raised. She’s an avid outdoors enthusiast and spends as much free time as possible immersing herself in the magic of the Southwest’s cultural legacy, especially camping trips to visit prehistoric and historic sites.
